HEAVY DUTY CLEARCOAT COMPOUND
is a body shop safe medium cut compound for removing haze and surface defects on all clearcoated vehicles. Leaves a clean, mirror-like shine ready for polishing and waxing. Heavy Duty Clearcoat Compound contains no silicone, making it completely body shop safe! Can be effectively used by hand or machine.
CAUTION: DO NOT apply in direct sunlight or onto a warm surface or staining may occur.
To avoid burning the clearcoat while compounding, keep the polisher moving and do not let the surface dry out. Apply enough compound to the surface to cover a 2'x2' area and spready uniformly using a pad, brush, or soft towel. Buff using a high speed (1500-3000 RPM) polisher moving in a circular motion with enough pressure to allow the compound to cut effectively. Reduce pressure to create a high gloss.
